Why The Founders Circle

Owning a business is rich, demanding and, at times, brutal.

You may not have a boss, but you carry:

  • The weight of your families, staff, client and investors expectations.
  • Decisions you can't fully share with you partner, team or board
  • Questions about exit, succession, or what my next chapter actually is
  • The sense that your identity and your business have quietly fused into one

Friends and family care, but don't always get it.

Talking openly with co-founders or fellow directors rarely feels clean.

I'm not broken. I'm a founder in transition.

The problem is trying to navigate that in isolation.

The Founders Circle is a place to work through the knotty challenges of business and life with other owners who are walking a similar path.

Who It's For

Every man in the room:

Owns or has founded a business with meaningful scale

Has led through risk, complexity and pressure

Is usually 40+ and asking harder questions about legacy, family, health and direction

Wants experienced peers who will tell the truth, not an audience to impress

Members may be:

  • Deep in building and scaling
  • Preparing or negotiating an exit
  • Post-exit and working out who they are without "the business"
  • Exploring their next chapter – NED roles, new ventures, or a different pace of life

What we share is simple: we know what it is to be ultimately responsible.

How It Works

Closed group. 10 men max. Same faces, every time.
For 2026, there are 10 seats only – and 4 are still available.

In Person

5 in-person gatherings per year

  • 4 × full-day sessions
  • 1 × overnight in a beautiful setting

Days typically include:

  • Activating breathwork – arrive properly, not just turn up
  • Men's circle – confidential space for what's really going on
  • Nutritious shared food – conversation that actually goes somewhere
  • Walk in nature – space to think without a screen
  • Strategy & legacy work – getting clear on what I'm building now, and why

Between Meetings

  • Group calls in the "off" months to integrate, reset and stay accountable
  • A clear place to bring key decisions and challenges, rather than carrying them alone

Over time, The Founders Circle becomes a blend of:
advisory board, reality check and lifeline.

The quality of the circle depends on the quality of the men in it.
The current members protect that – for themselves, and for any Man joining.
If you are invited to join, you have been chosen by the men your will be sharing in the group with, not just by a normal sales process.

A few sharper questions to sit with:

Am I a business owner who is used to being the most responsible man in the room – and the least supported?
Do I secretly know that my current way of operating is unsustainable, even if it looks impressive from the outside?
Have I run out of people I can speak to with deep honesty about my personal and professional life and what is it actually costing me?
Am I willing to be challenged, held to account, and seen clearly by other founders – not just admired for my CV?
If the existing group had the final say, would I back myself to be someone they'd want beside them?
